Why?
Bart has a very individual and recognisable signature. With his designs, he uses new and existing materials to create innovative things and seems to tap into new worlds. His work is of international stature; he ‘finds’ and creates his own platform and enters into international collaborations with prestigious names such as Lady Gaga, Palais de Tokyo, Iris van Herpen and Lucy McRae. His work has acquired an independent position in the (fashion) world.
